Aesculus
Genus of majestic trees originating from France and Macedonia, with deciduous leaves made up of 5 leaflet. Flowers in raceme of coloured flowers and its fruits are the so called horse chestnuts (especially those of A. hippocastanum). Grows in loose soils and fresh climate.
