Cedrus - Cedar
Evergreen or deciduous conifer whose shape can range from those of a bush (C. atlantica “Compacta”) to those of a majestic tree (C. libani), with upright or weeping crown. The needles range from green to yellow or steel-blue. Usually it prefers soils that are not too moist and climate that are not too cold. It is used in parks, gardens and avenues.
