Shrub or tree with deciduous leaves, whose colour varies according to the variety. Beautiful flowering made up by bright pink or white flowers that bloom on bare branches. The variety C. siliquastrum is called Judas Tree, and grow well in dry and calcareous soils. They are used in gardens and along narrow streets.
