Cotoneaster
Shrub with thin crown, usually upright but sometimes prostrate. Evergreen oval leaves, green, sometimes with white edges. Flowers in may with white or pink flowers, followed by numerous bright red berries. Whitstands pollution, and it is used in hedges, borders, as groundcover and to reinforce slopes.
