Crataegus - Thorns
Shrub, commonly called Thorns, with dark green oval leaves, 3 to 15 cm big, depending on the variety. Flowers in spring with white or red flowers, followed by numerous round fruits. No particular requirements as regards soil, but prefers deep and rich soils. Withstands pollution and drought, it is used for hedges and along narrow streets.
