Populus - Poplar
Genus that includes many type of poplar. The white poplar has round or pyramidal crown, white bark and lower side of the leaves, and it is used as wind barrier in maritime zones. The black polar has columnar habit, rhomboid leaves and it is used alongside canals and streets. P. tremula has round crown, flaking-off bark, green leaves, and it is used for wind barriers and to reinforce the ground.
